OUR HISTORY

METTON® Liquid Molding Resin was originally developed in the 1980’s by Hercules Corporation.  METTON® America, Inc. was born from this technology and became the exclusive commercial supplier of this plastic resin in 1995.  Early in METTON America's history, success was found in applications such as chemical waste tanks and aftermarket automotive products, such as running boards for pickup trucks and aero packages for conversion vans.  A few years later, successful applications in the Heavy Truck industry rapidly grew sales and penetration into similar markets such as Construction and Agriculture vehicles, and later into other unique markets.
